Universal Alloy Corporation (UAC) is a global leader in the manufacture of aerospace products. UAC supplies aircraft manufacturers and their subcontractors worldwide and has served the aircraft industry for over four decades. UAC specializes in 2000- and 7000-series alloys and offers a full range of alloys and tempers that can be tailored to a customer’s particular application.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Will assist staff in the following areas:
Pick up all trash inside and outside
Set up tools (with corner organizers) at every workstation, with each tool identified to match the workstation
Data entry
Update Preventative Maintenance logs using computer software
Inventory parts
Relabel racks
Clean and organize various areas in the mill
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Interest in work activities that include practical, hands-on problems and solutions
Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
Providing information/updates to supervisors, co-workers
Observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources
Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges
Noticing a problem and figuring out the best way to solve it
Great communicator/customer interactions
Attention to Detail
Adaptability/Flexibility
Excel experience a plus
Preferred Skills
Good oral and written communication skills required.
Ability to work with Microsoft office products on computers, especially Excel spreadsheets.
Good reasoning and decision-making skills.
Ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
Safety
All UAC employees must know and follow job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, proactively promote safety at work, and promptly report actual and potential accidents and injuries. Employee must understand the PPE and wear it properly.
