Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and organize month-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Conduct account reconciliations and implement process improvements to maintain accurate records.
• Develop and document accounting procedures and workflows for efficiency and compliance.
• Support audit preparation by gathering required documentation and ensuring readiness for fiscal year-end reviews.
• Manage budgeting and financial planning activities, tracking multiple revenue streams and expense models.
• Monitor and track project costs, including construction in progress and inventory management for distribution operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address financial discrepancies and improve data tracking systems.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for business growth and optimization.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations across all financial activities.
• Extensive experience in a controllership role with a focus on full-cycle accounting.
• Proficiency in managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close processes.
• Strong knowledge of audit preparation, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with inventory management and project cost tracking in distribution or construction environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting and financial planning for complex revenue models.
• Proficient in using accounting software systems, CRM tools, and reporting platforms, as well as experience with Microsoft 365
• Ability to document business processes and implement workflow improvements.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
