Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing cabinets, racks, drawers, and other components into the back of Transit vans and other trucks. This role involves working in the assembly department, using air tools to install components according to customer specifications.
Responsibilities
Install cabinets, racks, drawers, and other components into Transit vans and other trucks.
Use air tools to perform installation tasks according to customer specifications.
Work in the assembly department, ensuring all installations meet quality standards.
Perform tasks requiring bending, twisting, and repetitive movements to access the back of vans.
Spend a significant amount of time on knees and bending while working on the assembly line.Essential Skills
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
Experience in assembly and upfitting.
Ability to perform general production tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specifications.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and ear plugs is required.

Work Environment
The facility is very clean but non-climate controlled. It features six large garage doors that allow for a breeze during the summer. You will work in teams of 5-10 other contractors, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
