In this critical role, you will oversee supplier relationships, optimize stock levels, and ensure seamless inventory processes to support operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with suppliers to deliver forecasts and monitor performance, ensuring supplier quality and delivery requirements are met.
Conduct regular performance reviews with critical and major suppliers, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics and facilitate quarterly review meetings.
Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts, annual physical inventory, and material requirement planning, while recommending corrective actions for process optimization.
Evaluate stock by volume and price, regularly reviewing and adjusting Kanban levels for production efficiency.
Lead the quoting process for high-dollar and high-volume inventory to secure optimal value.
Manage the full purchase order life cycle, ensuring alignment with company policies and preventing issues such as inventory shortages or vendor favoritism.
Design and implement systems to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize emergency purchases.
Assess tools, material-handling equipment, and staffing needs to ensure efficient movement and storage of inventory.
Support forecasting and budgeting efforts regularly, contributing to the company’s growth and profitability.
Provide mentorship and leadership to the materials management team, developing their product knowledge and aligning team goals with organizational culture and customer expectations.
Collaborate with the Service department for quick-turnaround material needs.
SALARY RANGE: $95,000 - $115,000

Qualifications:
Proven experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field.
