Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis for a 6-week period. In this role, you will support order fulfillment operations by performing transactions, managing product movement, and ensuring data accuracy. This position is based in Austin, Texas, and offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of warehouse and logistics activities.
Responsibilities:
• Process Oracle transactions to support order fulfillment tasks, including reserving and reallocating products.
• Manage the movement of inventory from reserved to pick-and-pack stages.
• Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping for all warehouse activities.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth logistics operations.
• Perform routine calculations and verify data for completeness and accuracy.
• Organize and maintain electronic and physical files related to inventory and fulfillment processes.
• Handle email correspondence and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Operate scanning tools and other office equipment to streamline inventory tracking.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data discrepancies when they arise.• Strong proficiency in data entry tasks with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiarity with 10-key typing and accurate typing skills.
• Experience in managing email correspondence effectively.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word for administrative tasks.
• Ability to organize files and maintain accurate records.
• Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with stakeholders.
• Capability to perform calculations and verify data accuracy.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or order fulfillment is a plus but not required.
