PAVE Mobility of Dania Beach, FL, is seeking a full-time experienced and motivated IT Quality Assurance Manager to lead and develop a team of testing professionals. This position will play a pivotal role in automating testing processes, ensuring the quality of our applications, and fostering a culture of excellence in test automation. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both manual and automated testing methodologies and capable of mentoring a team to become specialists in test automation. The IT Quality Assurance Manager works a full-time 40-hour week.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Development:

Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers in both manual and automated testing practices.

Foster a collaborative and innovative environment, encouraging team members to adopt test automation and advanced testing methodologies.

Manage resource allocation, team growth, and performance evaluations.

2. Testing Strategy and Implementation:

Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies for applications, APIs, services, and data structures.

Oversee the development and execution of automated and manual test cases, ensuring full test coverage.

Drive the adoption of continuous testing practices in CI/CD pipelines.

3. Automation Frameworks and Tools:

Lead the implementation and optimization of test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, and Postman.

Employ monitoring and visualization tools like Grafana for real-time insights into testing processes.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

Partner with development, product management, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.

Communicate quality metrics, testing progress, and risks to stakeholders.

Collaborate with teams using design tools like Swagger for API documentation and user interface validations.

5. Test Management and Bug Tracking:

Manage test cases and execution using JIRA and XRAY (JIRA plugin).

Oversee defect tracking and resolution processes to maintain high-quality standards.

6. Technology Expertise:

Ensure team proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, SQL, HTML, XML, and Gherkin.

Provide expertise in database querying (e.g., MySQL) and experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.

Promote best practices for test environments using IntelliJ IDEA.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred. Experience may compensate for degree.

Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Quality Assurance Manager or similar role, with a strong focus on test automation.

Proficiency in the listed tools, frameworks, and technologies.

Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
