Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in financial reporting.
Lead and manage day-to-day financial functions, directing both local and remote teams.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform strategic decision-making and drive long-term planning.
Prepare and present financial reports and performance metrics to assess property and portfolio health.
Manage the financial aspects of property acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions and integrations.
Oversee profit and loss statements, aligning financial performance with growth objectives.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations, maintaining accurate records.
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and financial partners.
Direct payroll operations and support the onboarding of new financial team members.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
5+ years of senior-level finance or accounting experience, ideally within real estate investment.
Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and GAAP principles.
Proficiency with financial and accounting software; experience with Rent Manager is a plus.
Proven leadership experience in high-growth environments, managing distributed teams.
Advanced analytical skills with the ability to transform strategic goals into actionable financial models.
Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly presenting financial insights.
Experience in startup or small business settings, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
