Sunbelt Staffing, a trusted nationwide healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Duluth, GA. Contract Details:

Location: Duluth, GA and surrounding areas

Company: Sunbelt Staffing

Contract Length: 13 Weeks (with possible extension upon successful start and completion)

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, with occasional weekends and on-call duty (typically one weekend per month on-call)

Productivity: 25-32per week, up to 35 patients

Compensation: Negotiable, based on experience and territory budget

Mileage: .38c visit to visit, 150-250 miles per week expected

Blended Pay Packages: Available for travelers

Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments using OASIS, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with agency standards.

Develop and implement individualized care plans, coordinating with physicians, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals.

Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, IV therapy, and catheter care.

Educate patients and their families about care plans, medication management, and other health-related topics.

Maintain accurate patient records in Homecare Homebase (HCHB), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Travel to patient homes within the territory, using reliable transportation.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

Adhere to Joint Commission standards and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.

Minimum of 1 year of home health experience.

Proficiency in OASIS and Homecare Homebase (HCHB) required.

Oasis Certified strongly preferred.

Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Reliable transportation with valid driver's license.

Ability to meet Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer.
