Job Description
We are seeking Flux-Cored Arc Welder to become an integral part of our team! The Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms. The Welder must be qualified on multiple weld processes to include FCAW in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. This position will perform the highest quality of welding on carbon and stainless steel on all types of products and materials using various types of automatic, semi-automatic or manual welding equipment.

Responsibilities:
Perform welding operations using various techniques
Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine specifications
Set up and operate welding equipment and tools
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure project completion
Adhere to AWS D1.1 and AWS D1.5 or applicable code
Operation of a forklift and overhead crane
Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
Install and repair various equipment and components
Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
2+ years experience as a Welder/Fabricator
Proficient in various welding techniques, including GMAW, SMAW, GTAW, FCAW
Familiarity with basic hand tools
Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper and micrometer
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Must pass 2G, 3G, and 4G weld test
Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics
Ability to handle physical workload
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. repetitively throughout the course of shift
Ability to bend, sit, stand, twist and stoop for long periods of time
Ability to walk 2-5 miles throughout of course of a shift

Our welding program is administered in accordance with Section IX and D1.1 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and American Welding Society for carbon, steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys. Welding techniques include GTAW, GMAW, FCAW, and SMAW.
