MACHINIST: CNC MILL (VMC)
COMPANY PROFILE:
Fluidyne Corp is a well respected prime contractor that manufactures custom valves for the Navy. The majority of our business supports the Navy’s critical Nuclear Propulsion and Level I/Subsafe programs. Consequently, the quality of our product is vital to our success. Our facility is clean, well lit, and fully air conditioned.
WORK HOURS:
The position requires a 40 hour minimum work week, with 8 hours overtime always available. Our lunch period is 30 minutes. We do not work on weekends.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
We offer a competitive compensation package commensurate with talent and experience. This package includes company paid health insurance (employees are required to pay a portion of the cost for dependents) and a 401(k) Plan that includes a no limit 35% employer match.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
CNC mill machinist applicants must have at least 3 years experience with the programming, set-up and machining of precision milled parts including castings and forgings. Machinists that are proficient with both CNC and manual equipment are preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to produce parts per drawing requirements with minimal supervision.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND DETAILS:
This position is for the programing, set up, fixturing and operation of an Okuma vertical machining center with a 60” X 25” table and A axis (rotary table). FeatureCAM is utilized for programing. Training for both FeatureCAM and the Okuma control will be available as long as the candidate has experience with similar software/control. Most parts are close tolerance and run quantities are very low. This is not a production shop. Fluidyne has an experienced staff that can provide guidance as necassary
