As one of the first hires, you will be a critical member of our team and will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our company, while working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that will challenge and inspire you. In this role, you will work as an early member of our manufacturing team to build wire harness assemblies and operate machinery. You will also work closely with other engineers and other technicians to design, develop, and iterate on the material process flow for the factory.

Compensation parameters for this role are based on experience, with a hourly rate in the $27.50 - $50 range. In addition, we also offer equity participation and full benefits. This position is onsite and will be based at our company headquarters in Redondo Beach, CA.

Responsibilities

Work in a high pace environment to manufacture wire harnesses for critical aerospace applications

Be involved in ideation, planning, and execution stages of product development

Manufacturing electrical harness assemblies, including ability to correctly interpret schematics and build compliant electrical assemblies as well as demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical tests such as continuity and insulation resistance.

Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization to understand their technology needs and build solutions accordingly

Write documentation for development processes and operations

Adapt to change quickly and stay up-to-date with new technologies and tools that can benefit the organization

Occasionally provide technical support to customers and help improve the overall customer experience, eventually participate in on-call rotation as the company grows

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent certification and 2+ years in a manufacturing or customer service environment or an associates degree in engineering, math, or science associate degree

Can review complex wire harness schematics and determine the order of operations without clear work instructions

Knowledge of soldering, wire stripping, contact crimping, contact insertion and removal, harness routing and strain relief techniques is required

Has a team-oriented attitude and will take pride in their work

Preferred Qualifications

IPC-620 Certification

Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering or similar field

J-STD-001 Soldering Certification

NASA STD 8739.1 Certification

NASA STD 8739.4 Certification

US Citizen able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Proficient use of basic shop arithmetic

Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Experience or familiarity with ISO requirements, standards, and compliance issues

Hands on experience in a manufacturing setting or in a complex logistics environment

Experience building software to meet government compliance standards (e.g. ITAR, HIPAA)

Previous experience working at a fast-paced, high-growth startup

Previous experience working at a large, well-established tech company

Experience building highly interactive, highly customizable, and visually appealing browser-based tools
