Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Clerk to join our team in Coloma, Michigan. This long-term contract position offers an opportunity to play a key role in managing inventory operations and supporting warehouse functions. If you have a strong background in inventory systems and administrative tasks, this role could be an excellent fit for you. This role is 100% onsite, M-F, 7am-4pm.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee accurate inventory management and data entry to maintain operational efficiency.
• Facilitate shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and organized handling of goods.
• Coordinate warehouse activities, including forklift operations and workflow management.
• Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
• Provide administrative support for inventory-related tasks and documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes and enhance productivity.
• Maintain compliance with safety and operational standards within the warehouse environment.
• Utilize inventory systems and software to monitor stock levels and generate reports. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or administrative roles.
• Proficiency in inventory systems, with knowledge of ERP solutions being advantageous.
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures and warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage workflows effectively.
• Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Experience with software such as Cerner Technologies, Epic Software, or similar tools.
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment involving corrugated board materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
