Job Description:

We are seeking a Patient Services Worker to support food service operations in a hospital or healthcare facility. This role plays a key part in providing a positive patient experience by delivering meals, assisting with dietary needs, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. The ideal candidate is caring, organized, and comfortable interacting with patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities:

Deliver meals to patient rooms with accuracy, professionalism, and courtesy

Follow dietary guidelines and ensure proper food handling and sanitation

Retrieve meal trays and clean service areas as needed

Communicate with patients regarding meal preferences and restrictions

Collaborate with kitchen and nursing staff to ensure correct meal delivery

Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations

Uphold infection control and hygiene standards at all times

Restock supplies and assist with basic food prep or cleaning duties when needed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Prior experience in food service or healthcare is a plus

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to follow dietary instructions and safety procedures

Able to lift up to 25 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

Compassionate attitude and professional demeanor

Must be authorized to work in the United States
