From emergency spill response to hazardous waste transportation to wastewater treatment, or from industrial cleaning to full facility closure and remediation, Patriot can do it all with our own internal resources and do so while accomplishing every metric of success.\n \n Our mission is to always be Prepared and Professional.\n Join the team that makes a difference!\n \n DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nEnsure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner.\nDrive and operate a minimum of two types of heavy equipment including but not limited to 50/70 Barrel Vacuum and Single Roll-Off Trucks.\nMake deliveries in a safe and timely manner.\nPrepare Haz-Mat & Non-Haz manifests.\nMaintain full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, daily ELD logs, timesheets and vehicle inspection reports.\nPerform simple maintenance and cleaning of response vehicle and assigned truck.\nPerform various housekeeping and custodial duties as required.\nAnswer 24/7 Emergency Response calls when on uncontrolled stand-by.\nWork long hours and overtime, including days, nights or weekend shifts.\nOther reasonable directives, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.\nComply with the Random Drug Testing Program.\n\n EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND REQUIREMENTS\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent highly preferred.\nCurrent California Class B Commercial Driver License, required.

Class A preferred.\nDriving record that meets company standards and current DMV printout, required.\nHazmat and Tanker endorsement, required.\n40-hour HAZWOPER required.\n2 – 5 years of experience in heavy equipment driving and operation required.\n1 – 5 years of hazardous waste control and environmental services industry experience preferred.\nAll applicants must pass the following pre-employment requirements:\n\nPhysical including drug and alcohol screening\nBackground check in accordance with local laws and regulations\n\n\n\n CORE COMPETENCIES AND SPECIFIC SKILLS\n\nStrong attention to detail with a distraction-free driving style.\nComprehensive understanding of logistics systems.\nSafety conscious.\n\n PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS\n\nPull/push 50 lbs.
