Job Summary:
The (Construction) Project Manager is responsible for the scheduling, coordinating, daily reporting, and supervising of all onsite building, civil, electrical, mechanical subcontractors, and employees assigned to the projects. Work consists of demolishing, installing, altering, and repairing architectural, AC / DC electrical systems and equipment associated with CI construction projects, primarily inside plant or on site. This can range from basic repairs to building additions and new green field construction. Responsibilities also include client meetings, project planning, equipment selection and logistics, on-site management, and project closeouts

What Will You Do
What You Will Do:
Refine the scope of work and detail subcontracts
Manage multiple projects in various stages of activities
Prepare and monitor project budgets, scope, and schedule
Develop project schedule and monitor/update as the project progresses
Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation superintendents and tradespeople
Provide specific expertise and critical thinking for problem-solving
Provide technical evaluation of subcontractor and equipment proposals
Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
Coordinate completion of construction activities.
Prepare punch list to ensure the readiness of systems for turnover to the client.
Prepare customer proposals and project change orders
Experience working within public safety environments. What You Will Need
What You Will Need:
10 plus years' experience in construction project management with understanding in commercial fiber and electrical systems
Experience working within public safety
Journeyman or Master electrician a plus OR seasoned electrical Project Manager
The right candidate will reside in CA and possesses a CA C7 or C10 license.
ERRCS License
Ability to read, and understand the scope of work and engineering design drawings
Leadership and organization skills
Knowledge of construction safety, policies, and procedures, with field experience a plus.
Strong communication skills in customer-facing settings
Strong experience with Microsoft Office
Must be able to travel. Expected compensation includes 175,000-200,000 per year and benefits including medical, vision, and dental benefits, and 401k retirement plan available for eligible employees. Compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as an individual's education, training, experience, skills, geographic location, seniority, merit, and other factors that are job related and consistent with business need.
Travel:
Up to 50%+ local travel
Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.
