Sr. Product Configuration Software Analyst

Scope of Position

As a Senior Production Configuration Software Analyst, you will play a key role in implementing, supporting, and continuously improving our global product configuration software. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, IT system owners, developers, and vendors to understand complex requirements and deliver effective configuration solutions. This role is central to ensuring our configuration platforms' successful integration and operation, particularly Experlogix CPQ and V6, across global ERP environments.

Responsibilities

Partner with business units to gather and analyze product configuration requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.

Collaborate with software developers and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues involving ERP systems and in-house applications.

Act as a technical subject matter expert for Experlogix CPQ and V6, providing insights, best practices, and advanced support.

Work with software vendors to investigate and resolve product bugs; test and validate software updates and new builds.

Lead or support system upgrades, configurations, and deployment of new product configuration instances.

Proactively monitor systems to identify and address critical performance issues.

Contribute to the success of global ERP initiatives by offering configuration expertise and guidance.

Mentor junior team members and serve as a resource for technical problem-solving.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, integration maps, and architecture guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in product configuration, ERP solution implementation, or related IT systems roles.

Hands-on experience with Experlogix CPQ and/or V6 product configuration software.

Strong SQL skills, with at least 2 years of experience writing and debugging SQL scripts (MS SQL Server or Azure SQL).

Demonstrated experience supporting or implementing ERP systems and integrations.

Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve complex software issues.

Highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities with urgency.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders globally.

Ability to collaborate across departments and with external partners to drive solutions.

Preferred:

Experience with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript).

Background in fenestration, mechanical systems, or electronic security products.
