DSHS IT Data Integration and Report Developer

This position provides primary support for the WA Cares Fund program and additionally supports other DSHS business programs. The work consists of design, development, enhancement, maintenance, and implementation through a variety of Microsoft reporting and ETL/ELT tools and platforms that interact with data from multiple systems within Microsoft SQL Server and Azure environments.

Join a dedicated and dynamic group of professionals who support the Data Services team effort to implement data solutions, which provide care and resources to clients and families in need throughout Washington state.

Some of what you’ll do:

Work on a cross-functional team engaged in ongoing growth and learning opportunities

Design, develop, and maintain IT data solutions responsive to data and reporting needs

Analyze data and business processes

Provide maintenance and operations support

Provide customer support

Build custom tools and applications that help solve ongoing problems

What we’re looking for:

Fast learning professionals with excellent communication, problem solving, and design skills who have earned a bachelor’s degree with major study in information systems/technology, computer science, data analytics, statistical analysis, engineering or a closely related field AND four years of analyzing, designing, and programming database systems and applications.

At least eight years of related work experience in lieu of degree.
