Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Data Architect for their Albany NY/Buffalo, NY/Columbus, OH/Cleveland, OH/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
Develop architecture diagrams, detailed design diagrams, interfaces working with all the dependent technical teams for discretionary initiatives
Coach and guide squad leads to implement better coding practices
Provides architectural guidance for squads under Banker experience to ensure compliance to enterprise standards
Provide direction and recommendations on solutions for security vulnerabilities
Support squad leads in Security variances in Security Technology review meetings
Proactively recommend better tools and develop practices for the engineering and support team mates
Continue to develop a culture of modern software development practices
Collaboratively work with squad tech leads to develop plans and strategies to improve code development, delivery and release practices
Requirements:
Experience and adept at trouble shooting and debugging.
Must understand and know common core development principles.
Experience working with API or RESTFUL and SOAP services.
Database experience any (SQL, Oracle)
Data integrations background, different data integrations (ETL (extract, translate, load services understanding)
Understanding of SAML/SSO capabilities preferably OKTA.
Data Architecture Background with strong data analysis skills, possibly data warehousing background.
COBOL/Mainframe experience would still be a “high” nice to have skillset possibly TWS scheduling.
At least 10 years of software development experience
At least 5 years of experience in banking / finance industry
