Evaluation and Innovation Manager
Reports to: Chief Learning Officer
FLSA Status: FT/Exempt
Salary Range: 53,901-67,000
SUMMARY: Responsible for leading the organization’s overall evaluation and impact plan; integrating data platforms to ensure accurate reporting; managing strategic innovation projects to ensure they are aligned with the organization's mission and vision, instilling rigorous data practices and a culture of learning across silos.

ESSENTIAL EVALUATION FUNCTIONS:
Lead organization-wide evaluation strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic plan and collaborating with leadership on impact measurement and performance metrics.
Manage strategic projects from planning to execution, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Develop and oversee implementation plans, deliverables, and timelines using project management tools to track progress and ensure on-time completion.
Enhance staff capacity by designing and delivering trainings on evaluation and data software/platforms, program models, and data measurement strategies.
Standardize and streamline data collection processes across departments to break down silos and improve efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.
Design, refine, and optimize data infrastructure, including through real-time dashboards in Power BI and Achieve It, and utilization of the data lake for leadership visibility.
Lead inclusive, co-creative projects that model equity-centered practices and foster staff and community engagement.
Integrate evaluation insights into strategy, collaborating with leadership, cross-functional teams, and Strategic Plan navigators to inform data-driven decision-making.
Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and innovation, embedding performance improvement practices across all levels of the organization.
Translate impact data and the Strategic Plan into compelling narratives, partnering with Communications and Advancement teams to support storytelling and fundraising efforts.
Manage all project details as assigned including timelines, budgets, communication, invitations, food ordering, space reservation and other such details.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing operational leadership, or related field with three years of experience in a similar role.
4+ years of proven experience in data system management
Passion and understanding of the YMCA mission
Passion and understanding of the importance of data and evaluation
Strong customer service and time management skills with ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.
Detail oriented and able to solve problems. Able to improvise and think critically, listen to input from other team members/clients and provide the same level of input.
Must be a team player and able to work both independently and in a group.
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
