Job Summary:
We’re seeking a mission-driven Lead Physical & Threat Security Specialist to join a high-impact team supporting the Executive Office for the United States Attorneys (EOUSA) and the 94 United States Attorneys' Offices (USAOs). In this dual-capacity leadership role, you'll spearhead the design and deployment of advanced physical security systems while also managing critical threat intelligence and response operations. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to play a pivotal role in safeguarding federal personnel, facilities, and sensitive information across the nation.
Location: Washington, DC (with travel to USAO field offices)
Clearance Level: Top Secret
Position is contingent upon award of the contract from the government.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and mentor Physical Security Specialists across multiple locations.
Plan, design, and manage installation of PACS, CCTV, vehicle barriers, duress alarms, SCIFs, and other integrated systems.
Develop and review technical drawings, cost estimates, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
Conduct physical security surveys and compliance inspections at USAO facilities nationwide.
Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and GSA on security system upgrades, renovations, and construction projects.
Troubleshoot system issues and ensure service continuity through vendor coordination and onsite inspections.
Serve as primary liaison for facility security system maintenance, testing, and commissioning.
Threat Management Operations
Monitor and respond to threat activity targeting DOJ personnel, including review of Urgent Reports and real-time threat tracking.
Coordinate protective measures, including residential security support and deputation tracking.
Interface with the USMS Threat Management Center (TMC) and other law enforcement partners.
Assist in developing threat mitigation strategies and emergency response plans.
Support the integration of physical security enhancements based on threat assessments and intelligence inputs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in physical security and threat management, or 15+ years without a degree.
Proven expertise in physical security systems design, integration, and project execution—AutoCAD, Visio, and Microsoft Project proficiency strongly preferred.
Experience in law enforcement, force protection, or threat analysis is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and vendor relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in documenting cases, drafting reports, and preparing technical materials.
Deep understanding of federal facility security standards, HSPD-12 compliance, and DOJ protocols.
