Who We’re Looking For:

An experienced DevSecOps / OpenShift (Kubernetes) Engineer to lead critical IT infrastructure initiatives. This professional will support large-scale projects by applying extensive technical knowledge in DevSecOps practices, container orchestration, and automation. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with diverse technical teams, guide modernization efforts, and ensure robust, secure deployment pipelines across various platforms and environments.

Hybrid Role: Work in Lansing, MI office is required two days per week beginning at the start of the engagement.

Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert in Kubernetes/OpenShift and DevSecOps practices.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to technical teams.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure platform compatibility and application performance.

Design and implement solutions using Azure DevOps, including pipelines, repositories, and related processes.

Manage and automate CI/CD pipelines across varied environments (Linux, Windows, SQL Server, Oracle).

Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and OpenShift.

Configure and maintain ELK stack (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana) for performance monitoring.

Integrate code quality and security tools (SonarQube, Coverity, Black Duck) into DevOps workflows.

Maintain clear documentation for process automation and deployment strategies.

Engage in troubleshooting, monitoring, and optimizing infrastructure performance.

Qualifications:

More than 5 years of experience with Kubernetes OpenShift and Linux Shell Scripting.

Expertise in application containerization.

Proficiency with:

Azure DevOps (ADO)

Docker and S2I

Python, Bash, Shell scripting

ELK Stack (v8+), SonarQube, Black Duck

Web servers and middleware (NGINX, WebSphere)

Network and security protocols (SSL, TCP/IP, LDAP)

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $64-67. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
