From our cutting-edge facility, we design and manufacture an expanding range of spinal implants and instruments. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Laser Welder with TIG Welding experience to join our award-winning team.

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding small and micro parts, ensuring precision and quality in every project. This role involves working with advanced welding equipment to produce high-quality welds on various materials.

Key Responsibilities

Operate laser welding and TIG welding equipment to perform precision welds on small and micro parts.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding specifications.

Set up and adjust welding machines for optimal performance and efficiency.

Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment to ensure reliable operation.

Work closely with the engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

6+ months of experience in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment preferred but not mandatory.

6+ months of experience as a Laser Welder and TIG Welder, specifically with small and micro part welding.

Strong understanding of welding techniques, materials, and equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.

Ability to shift priorities as needed.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Knowledge of safety practices and procedures in a welding environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Certification in welding (preferred but not required) mechanical aptitude, and eagerness to learn new skills.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.

Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

Manual hand dexterity for working with small parts like spinal implants and instruments.

Shift Schedule

3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM
