Vice President of Information Technology

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Vice President of Information Technology.

We need someone to assist in establishing the strategic direction of the organization’s information technology resources, ensuring that IT initiatives align with overall business goals and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy and roadmap.

Oversee IT infrastructure, including systems, software, and networks.

Identify emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and process improvements.

Coordinate daily operations of IT functions through subordinate staff.

Build and manage relationships with vendors and other departments.

Manage IT staff hiring, training, performance, and development.

Develop and implement IT policies that align with business objectives.

Ensure the security and integrity of organizational data and IT systems.

Track progress of development projects and report to executive leadership.

Provide support to users and determine organization-wide information needs.

Identify systems hardware and software for effective integration and operations.

Essentials:

Demonstrated leadership in creating and executing IT strategy.

Experience overseeing IT infrastructure, security, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Proven ability to manage, mentor, and evaluate IT personnel.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments and leadership levels.

Strong background in IT policy development, vendor management, and project oversight.

Adherence to corporate policies, including compliance, HIPAA, and safety protocols.

Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while promoting teamwork and problem-solving.

Desired:

Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.

Experience working within a healthcare, senior living, or nonprofit organization.

Knowledge of Resident Rights and a commitment to ethical service delivery.

Ability to lead with respect, dignity, and accountability.
