NOW HIRING: Brake Press Operator – 2nd Shift
Pay: $20–$24/hr DOE to start, plus shift differential
Schedule: Training on 1st Shift, then moving to 2nd Shift
We’re a small custom fabrication shop with high standards and a strong team culture, and we’re looking for an experienced Brake Press Operator to join us as we build out our second shift. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and has the skill to set up and operate CNC brakes independently.
What You’ll Do:
Perform ~30 setups per brake daily—no mindless repetition here
Interpret complex blueprints and determine proper tooling setup
Set up and run parts of varying difficulty, thickness, and material grades
Identify and solve issues with flat patterns and brake operations
Inspect your own work using calipers, tape measures, protractors, and more
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of experience in brake press setup and operation
Proficiency with Amada and/or Dener CNC brake presses
Familiarity with bend allowances, BOMs, pick lists, and routers
Ability to diagnose issues in both parts and equipment
Physical capability to lift 75 lbs, squat, and stand for extended periods
Keen eye for material types – carbon, stainless, aluminum
Strong work ethic, initiative, and attention to detail
