Hours: 40 hours per week; On-site presence required 2 days a week; Remote flexibility for 3 day a week. Must be able and willing to work occasional nights and weekends.

Position Summary: The Development Manager provides leadership on key fundraising initiatives within Wellspring Living. This role will lead annual fundraising campaigns and initiatives and identify, organize and manage activities to steward support from corporations, public and private organizations, faith communities, and individuals. The Development Manager is responsible for donation analysis, tracking & reporting using Salesforce CRM, payment processors, and other software that tracks and reports financial and in-kind donations.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Fundraising Campaigns
● Develop and execute annual giving campaigns and special fundraising initiatives, including Giving Tuesday, End of Year, United Way campaigns, and monthly giving programs.
● Conduct research and analysis to identify prospective donors and develop plans and tools to engage them effectively, including the creation of mailing lists, personalized outreach materials and incentives.
● Identify and activate relationships with individual and corporate donors, connecting, making direct asks and closing gifts of varying giving levels.
● Track fundraising performance, identify trends and regularly report on campaign and initiative progress to leadership.
Donor Stewardship
● Organize and support donor appreciation and stewardship gatherings.
● Develop and implement engagement plans to ensure retention of donors, including personalized acknowledgments, recognition, and ongoing communication.
● Research and assist with fundraising and grant opportunities as assigned.
● Manage donation proposals, reports, invoicing, and other development requests as assigned.
● Support donor stewardship associated with special events, including the creation of invitation lists, personalized donor outreach, and post-event follow-up.
● Provide on-site representation at various donor & volunteer cultivation events, including church conferences, corporate mixers, program events, and Wellspring Living special events.
Development Reporting & Analysis
● Regularly update donation opportunities, donor information and notes, engagement plans and campaigns within Salesforce CRM, maintaining integrity and accuracy of donor records.
● Provide leadership with regular reports on fundraising pipeline, awards and receivables.
● Work closely with other Development team members on strategies for donor cultivation based on analysis of activity and trends within donor data
● Create donation reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual basis, and compile financial data and donor information as requested
● Ensure compliance with proposal, grant application and reporting timelines and procedures for a portfolio of donor relationships.

Professional Qualifications:
● Extensive work history with Salesforce or comparable CRM, preferably at the expert level
● Proven track record of building relationships and closing gifts from donors & supporters
● Familiar with ECFA guidelines and government regulations for reporting and receipt of donations
● High proficiency in Google Suite or Microsoft Office (specifically Excel/Sheets and mail merge)
● Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field
● Minimum 2 years of related experience, such as non-profit development, gift processing, or donor stewardship, program impact analysis and reporting
Position Requirements:
● Moderate local travel; must have access to reliable transportation
● Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends for stewardship events
● Ability to lift objects up to 25 pounds and work for long periods at a computer
● Satisfactory criminal history background check
● Clean Motor Vehicle Record
