HVAC Helper / Apprentice (Travel )

Futch Heating & Air Conditioning is now hiring an HVAC Installer / Apprentice!

No experience is necessary. TRAVEL REQUIRED!

Pay up to $25/hr and depending on experience level.

This is an entry-level position that provides on-the-job training. This position performs various HVAC duties, including assisting with installation and assembling all aspects of HVAC systems.

Futch Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc. is a family-owned and operated company servicing the greater Louisville area, Southern Indiana, and surrounding counties since 1947. We are a growing commercial HVAC company seeking a reliable and hardworking Helper to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC trade while working alongside experienced technicians. The role requires regular travel to job sites throughout the region, sometimes up to 5 hours from our home base.

Requirements:

Must be 21 years of age with a Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet at central location or job sites

Willingness to travel regularly and work long days when needed

Physically capable of using a dolly and working in various weather conditions

Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented

Prior construction or mechanical experience is a plus, but not required

NOT REQUIRED:

Journeyman's License

Key Responsibilities:

Assist lead with installation

Load and unload tools and materials

Maintain a clean and organized job site

Follow safety protocols at all times

Travel with the crew to various job locations (overnight stays may be required)

Complete tasks efficiently in a work environment.
