Job Description Summary:

ASI is seeking a highly skilled Modeling and Simulation Systems Engineer to join our team. This position involves organizing and leading associates in large-scale modeling and simulation exercises, crucial for strategic decision-making and operational planning. The successful candidate will have a strong background in modeling and simulation, coding, and military experience, with specific expertise in AFSIM and other M&S software platforms. A current Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility is required for this position.

Position Responsibilities:

Lead and organize associates in large-scale modeling and simulation exercises to support analysis and operational concepts.

Design and implement systems based on organizational requirements, including the development of integrated simulation tools for wargaming events.

Develop and execute modeling and simulation projects using AFSIM and other M&S software platforms to support system analysis and decision-making.

Write and maintain code in relevant programming languages to enhance system functionalities.

Manage and maintain Linux-based systems and environments.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and system performance.

Conduct system testing and validation processes to ensure quality and compliance.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders.

Document system designs, processes, and procedures for future reference.

Basic Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Minimum of five (5) years of related experience.

Current Secret clearance with Top Secret eligibility.

Proven experience in modeling and simulation within a systems engineering context, specifically with AFSIM and other M&S software platforms.

Strong background in Linux systems administration and management.

Military background or experience working with military systems is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
