Float Security Officer - High-Rise Facility
Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Flexible - Must be available for all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
We are seeking a highly professional, reliable, and polished Float Officer with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in security, law enforcement, or military service. This is a high-visibility position in a prestigious 72-story high-rise building that demands excellence, discipline, and a strong commitment to safety. Veterans and former military personnel are strongly encouraged to apply.
Enforce access control procedures and monitor security systems
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
Conduct regular foot patrols and building inspections
Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and guests
Maintain detailed and accurate daily reports and incident documentation
Collaborate with site management and emergency responders as needed
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in security, military, or law enforcement
Valid State of Texas Level II security license
Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills
Proficiency with computer systems and security-related software
Must maintain a professional, clean-cut appearance
Physically able to stand or patrol for extended periods
Flexible availability - including overnights, weekends, and holidays
Experience in a corporate or high-rise environment
CPR/First Aid certification
Familiarity with access control systems and surveillance technology
