What You'll Do:

Support the upkeep of city parks, trails, and public buildings by performing landscaping, mowing, irrigation repairs, and cleaning tasks to keep Branson beautiful.

Handle a variety of building and equipment repairsfrom light carpentry and painting to drywall and concrete work.

Operate and maintain equipment like mowers, utility vehicles, and small engines.

Help prepare athletic fieldsand assist with snow removal andtrash collection.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: The starting hourly wage is $20.06 per hour and will increase to $20.86 per hour after 6 months of successful probation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND TRAINING

One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks.

A Class A or B CDL license is preferred.

High school graduate or GED equivalent is required.

Be at least 18 years of age.

A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment.

Pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within 6 months of being hired into position.

Have a valid Driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.

Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March.

Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening.

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Some after hours will be required.

WORK LOCATION: In and around the City of Branson, Missouri; This position requires work to be performed onsite.
