Overview

Lupin is comprised of a fast growing, innovative and robust team of manufacturing, Research and Development and commercial divisions. Together these entities make up the generic and branded U.S. business. Lupin has a significant generic pipeline, and a branded focus on women's health. Our first Research and Development facility in the US is located in Coral Springs, Florida which focuses on generic and branded orally inhaled and nasal drug products. Somerset, New Jersey is home to one of Fifteen commercial manufacturing sites globally and the only commercial manufacturing facility in the United States for Lupin, as well as additional Research and Development teams. Responsibilities

Summary:

Reporting to the Vice President, Market Access & Trade,, the Director, Access & Contracting Management will be a key member of the Lupin Brand business, assessing payer, GPO customer opportunities that are strategic to Lupin and providing insight into customer decision making for the company. This requires an established understanding of MCOs and PBMs across all segments: Commercial, Medicaid- FFS/Managed Medicaid. The position will require close coordination with multiple internal Lupin departments including Finance, Contract Analytics & Distribution, Legal, Trade and Distribution, and Commercial Operations. Additionally, this role will be required to foster relationships with, educating, and influencing multiple organized customer stakeholders including payers, health systems, and GPOs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Execute market access objectives by developing strong customer relationships, and by securing appropriate formulary status, favorable medical policy, and coverage for Lupin products within targeted payer channels.

Adhere to Lupin contracting strategy, prepare contract business cases where appropriate, conduct ROI assessments and scenario planning, and ensure contract compliance and data management for all contracted accounts.

Create and maintain account dashboard with current account profile information, coverage policies, formulary management, customer interactions, and key marketplace intelligence.

Proactively share access and relevant price information with internal Lupin stakeholders.

Support Lupin's mission, vision, core values and customer service philosophy, and adhere to the Lupin's Corporate Compliance Program including following all regulatory and company policy requirements. Qualifications

Qualification

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 5 years of Market Access experience

Proven understanding of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid and Federal payer segments

Knowledge of pharmacy vs. medical reimbursement methodologies, pricing/reimbursement authorities' decision-making process, and current pricing issues

Self-starter and entrepreneurial drive with proven consistent achievement of market access goals and objectives

Strategic thinking with both a long-term view of the business and a focus on driving immediate results

Impeccable ethics and integrity and a strong understanding of and compliance with legal and regulatory parameters

Executive presence with excellent communication skills

Customer facing experience with basic marketing and strong sales skills

Ability to travel at least 25% Preferred Experience

Pricing & Contracting within pharmaceutical industry

Payer & GPO account management

New product launch and pre-commercialization experience

Established relationships with hospital and specialty GPO, health plans as defined and assigned by the hiring manager

Knowledge in one or more of the following therapeutic areas: Respiratory (Asthma/COPD/other lung diseases), Ophthalmology and Neurology

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of the position generally include: standing, walking, sitting, using hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, talking and hearing. In some circumstances, bending, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and crawling may apply. This position may require lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally. Generally work is performed in an office environment.
