Job Description
The IT Coordinator serves as the central communication link between employees and the organization's Managed Services Provider (MSP). This role is responsible for monitoring help desk activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery, managing IT-related communications and documentation, and supporting the execution of IT projects. The IT Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring technology systems operate efficiently to support the organization's mission and daily operations.
Salary: $61,006.40 annually

Essential Job Functions:
Managed Services Provider (MSP) & Help Desk Oversight
· Monitor Help Desk tickets to ensure proper categorization, escalation, and timely resolution in line with service level agreement (SLA) and satisfaction standards.
· Identify trends in support requests and recommend solutions for recurring issues.
· Provide basic in-house IT support and serve as the communication link between staff and the MSP.
Project Communication & Reporting
· Manage communication between the MSP project manager and internal stakeholders, ensuring project tasks are assigned and followed up on.
· Attend meetings as assigned, prepare executive summaries, and present updates to the CFO for review.
System Monitoring & Employee Communication
· Monitor systems for interruptions or changes and coordinate incident response through the Help Desk and appropriate channels.
· Ensure timely, organization-wide communication of major outages, status updates, and other critical IT notifications.
Process Management & Documentation
· Ensure procedures are in place to communicate internal changes (e.g., onboarding/offboarding, vendor transitions) to the MSP in a timely manner.
· Maintain up-to-date IT documentation and orientation materials for new employees and end-user guides for supported systems.
· Support internal IT process improvement and compliance initiatives.
Vendor Relationship Management
· Manage relationships with telecommunications vendors (cell phone, cable internet).
· Track inventory and maintenance status of organization-owned devices.
Administrative & Financial Support
· Support IT budgeting by collecting quotes, creating purchase requisitions, and tracking IT and telecom expenses.
· Maintain regular communication with the CFO on strategic initiatives and project planning.

Experience/Education:
· Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support coordination, help desk oversight, or a related administrative IT role.
· Experience working with or coordinating with a Managed Services Provider (MSP) is strongly preferred.
· Prior experience with IT purchasing, vendor management, or telecom services is a plus.
