The Purpose:

We are looking for a CAD/Engineering Department Manager to join our growing team in Denver. As our CAD Manager, you’ll be at the center of transforming bold ideas into extraordinary physical experiences. You’ll turn complex designs into precise, build-ready engineering data from initial concept to final installation. This role isn’t just about managing drawings—it’s about owning the CAD process, guiding a talented team, and ensuring every detail supports the creative vision while meeting real-world constraints. The Job:

Lead the development, management, and review of CAD files and documentation for fabrication and installation projects.

Enforce and maintain compliance with internal CAD standards, SOPs, and naming conventions.

Work cross-functionally to interpret design concepts into accurate engineering data that supports buildability and efficiency.

Manage CAD project milestones and file submissions via Czarnowski’s intranet, including:

33% – Control models/documents complete

66% – Preliminary fabrication models/documents

100% – Final fabrication documents and setup instructions

Supervise and mentor CAD designers and drafters, fostering a culture of accuracy, consistency, and innovation.

Provide CAD support for conceptual design, fabrication (including CNC), and installation processes.

Provide support for the creation of Floor/Event Planning drawings.

As needed create Fabrication as well as Floor/Event Planning documents.

Assist Estimating and Project Management teams with quote development and timeline planning.

Ensure timely and accurate time tracking and documentation.

Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows, tools, and standards across the department.

Collaborate with Installation teams to produce clear setup and procedural documentation.

Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. The Person:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in CAD Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field OR 7+ years of relevant CAD experience in the display and exhibit industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).

Advanced experience with parametric modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.

Familiarity with McNeel Rhino and CNC programming highly desirable.

Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

Comfort with presenting CAD work via teleconference and collaborative software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat (markup tools), and scheduling/project tracking tools.

Experience in graphic design and production workflows. Colorado Salary and Benefit Statement:

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential hires who will work or reside in the state of Colorado if selected for the role. Any salary offered is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills and prior relevant experience.

Colorado Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000 annually

This position is eligible for health care benefits, life insurance, time off benefits and participation in the Company's 401(k) plan.
