In anticipation of an award, Tantus Technologies, Inc. (Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a Web Manager to oversee the development, management, and continuous improvement of our organization’s web presence. This role is central to managing our Drupal-based content management systems (CMS), ensuring accessibility and compliance with Section 508 standards, and supporting seamless digital experiences for both internal stakeholders and public-facing users.
Clearance: This position supports a federal contract and requires the ability to pass a background check.
What You'll Do
Manage web development and content management systems (CMS), primarily Drupal.
Oversee front-end and back-end development, ensuring Section 508 compliance.
Coordinate with application developers and content owners to maintain and enhance web presence.
Ensure high performance, availability, and security of web applications.
Support web-based information sharing and usability improvements.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and user guides for web platforms.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Digital Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience supporting IT projects.
Proven experience managing Drupal CMS and supporting enterprise-level websites.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development best practices.
Knowledge of Section 508 accessibility standards and compliance requirements.
Experience managing both front-end and back-end development environments.

Salary Range
Salary range is $110,000-135,000/year. The salary range for this position reflects a variety of factors that influence compensation decisions, including skills, experience, training, certifications, and organizational needs.
