Summary: This position will serve as primary backup to our front desk receptionist/switchboard operator as well as supporting Human Resources by performing other administrative duties including scanning, filing, recruiting and onboarding new employees, and preparing and sending out documents to employees. This position will require you to work on site Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

Essential job functions:

35% - Serve as primary backup to front desk receptionist/switchboard operator. Greet visitors to the lobby and ensure the employee being visited is notified of arrival. Ensure the food safety visitor log is completed on each visitor for sign in and out. Answer all phone calls to main line and route calls appropriately with a positive demeanor.

40% - Administrative backup to Human Resources Department. including filing, scanning, shredding, mail distribution, binder construction, mailing documents to employees and former employees. Check new hire files for completeness prior to filing. Add/Remove employee contact from external HR related systems. Distribute benefit documents to employees as required.

25% - Review resumes submitted online, conduct initial screening interviews, and schedule phone interviews.

Very high attention to detail, organized, and meticulous about getting things right the first time.

Education and experience: High school diploma required. Two years of office/administrative experience required.
