Java Full stack Developer

Infosys is seeking a Full stack Java Developer with good experience in design and development of web-based cloud applications, working knowledge in Sprint model on Agile methodology platform, having working knowledge of HP ALM, JIRA tools and ability to write queries in PL/SQL. In this role, you will enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model, research on technologies independently, recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards. You will also be responsible to interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Saint Louis, MO or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

• Experience in Core Java, Java 17, J2EE, Spring boot, RESTful web-services, API development, Maven.

• Experience with developing web and microservices applications in cloud environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in CSS3, Java Script, XML, HTML 5, jQuery, Bootstrap.

• Experience in React JS / Angular JS.

• Experience in AWS RDS, SQL Server/Oracle, and Postgres.

• AWS working knowledge - Cloud Trail, Cloud watch, AWS services storage, computing, networking.

• Experience in Design Review, Code Review, participate in various architect review forums like Architecture Review Board, and interact with Client Tech SME’s and Architects.

• Strong communication and Analytical skills.

• Ability to drive technical meetings and represent Infosys at client side.

• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.

• Experience in File Transmission, Networking, Knowledge about security code scans.

• Understanding of Containers & Docker Architecture.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
