Maintain complete knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures.
Rally the team with daily pep talks to set the vibe and keep everyone in the loop.
Follow-up on any guest hiccups from the previous shift - Moxy magic never misses a beat.
Know the Flow: Stay on top of the hotel daily status - keep it balanced, open and ready to roll.
Stay sharp by reviewing GSS alerts and GXP cases and close in a timely manner.
Check in on GSS scores and Marriott Bonvoy sign-ups with the crew - celebrate wins and set daily goals like a champ.
Conduct grab-and-go market inventory and ensure it is stocked for every shift.
Coach in Real Time: Spot teachable moments and keep our crew growing stronger every day.
Confirm shift closing duties are completed.
Make sure the bar is spotless, stocked, and shut down in style every night.
About the Role
At the Moxy, our front desk isn't just for check-ins - it's the beating heart of the guest experience. You'll welcome guests, sling cocktails, answer questions, and make sure every stay feels like the place to be. As Bar / Front Office Supervisor, you'll be leading shifts, lifting spirits, and keeping the energy high. In addition to training and inspiring our Rockstar Crew, you'll be mixing drinks and managing check-ins with equal style.
What We're Looking For
You've got 1-2 years of experience in front desk, bar, or hospitality roles - bonus points if you have prior supervisory experience.
You're a natural leader who knows how to motivate a team, solve guest issues with style, and keep the good vibes flowing.
You can juggle check-ins, cocktails, and coaching moments.
Able to read and follow safety and operational instructions.
Confident communicator (bonus if you’re bilingual in English/Spanish).
You know your way around hotel systems and you learn fast.
High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework is a plus.
You meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol in Ohio. ServSafe and/or alcohol service training like TIPS is a big bonus.
