Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking reliable and experienced CDL Class A, B, and E drivers to join our transportation team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods or passengers, depending on the vehicle type and license class. You must adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

For CDL Class A Drivers:

Operate tractor-trailers and other Class A vehicles for long-haul or regional deliveries

Transport goods across state lines

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections

Secure cargo and ensure it complies with weight limits

Maintain accurate driver logs and records

Communicate with dispatch and customers effectively

For CDL Class B Drivers:

Drive box trucks, dump trucks, or straight trucks for local or regional routes

Load and unload materials as needed

Ensure vehicle safety and compliance with local transport regulations

Deliver goods to businesses or job sites in a timely manner

For CDL Class E Drivers: (Note: Class E license requirements vary by state – often related to driving non-commercial passenger vehicles like shuttle vans or school transport)

Operate passenger vans or small buses

Safely transport individuals to assigned destinations

Assist passengers on and off the vehicle if necessary

Maintain clean and safe vehicle conditions

Follow route schedules and provide excellent customer service

Qualifications:

Valid CDL (Class A, B, or E depending on the position)

Clean driving record and current DOT medical card

Minimum [X] years of commercial driving experience preferred

Knowledge of DOT regulations and road safety standards

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Strong communication and time management skills
