Job Title: CNC Machinist $26-$28/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team for either the Night Shift (11 PM - 7 AM) or the Afternoon Shift (3 PM - 11 PM), with opportunities for 10-20 hours of overtime. The position is based in East Canton, OH and involves working with CNC machinery, performing inspections, and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

Operate, edit, changeover, and maintain CNC machinery.

Perform tool changes and ensure the efficient running of CNC equipment.

Conduct inspections and interpret blueprints.

Engage in manual or CNC grinding based on prior experience and strengths.Essential Skills

4+ years of CNC experience from schooling or work experience.

Proficiency with CNC Mills, Manual CNCs, or CNC Grinders (OD/ID).

Capability in multi-task machining operations.

Basic shop math skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Fanuc and programming is a plus.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Familiarity with manual lathe and horizontal boring mill operations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is located in a heavy industrial union environment in Canton, Ohio. Our facility manufactures a variety of large spun cast iron rolls, weighing between 9,000 and 100,000 pounds, for companies like Cleveland Cliffs and US Steel. The work setting is dirty and experiences temperature variations around 10 degrees hotter or cooler than the outside temperature. The team comprises approximately 30-40 employees across the first and third shifts.

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $58240.00/yr.
