JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Associate performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the receiving, sorting, stocking, inventory, picking, packing, palletizing, shipping and loading/unloading for both the Supplies and Parts divisions.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items.
Unload and load trailer shipments.
Engages in ERP receiving functions and computer entry tasks.
Perform daily cycle counting.
Required to lift heavy items.
Required to operate forklifts, reach trucks and motorized carts.
Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, picking and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
Computer entry tasks, including data entry, bills of lading, commercial invoices and Hazmat documentation.
Posts weights and shipping charges, prepares goods for final shipment, and posting in ERP.
Prepare HAZMAT shipments according to shipping standards and regulations.
Prepare kitting packages for assembly production.
Prepare, package, and ship LTL and ground shipments.
Prepare, package, and ship all ocean/air shipments when needed.
Perform Return Material Authorizations (RMA).
Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Must have a basic understanding of job and apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
Normally receives little instruction on daily work, general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
Forklift / Reach truck operation experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be open to working overtime and weekends on occasion.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl and move about the facility. Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
Moderate to frequent exposure to shop environment; may be exposed to dust, odors, oils, fumes, chemicals, noise and moving parts. Work can require the usage of PPE on the warehouse floor.
