Job Title: Tool and Die Maker

Job Description

Join our team as a Tool and Die Maker, where you will play a critical role in setting up, adjusting, and repairing tools and dies, as well as performing various machining tasks.

Responsibilities

Set up tools and dies to ensure proper functionality and precision.

Adjust and repair dies to maintain optimal performance.

Document processes and maintain accurate records.

Operate mills, lathes, grinders, and other machining equipment with expertise.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues efficiently.Essential Skills

Proficiency in machining, including operation of mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, and surface grinding.

Strong skills in CNC machining and manual mill/lathe operations.

Experience with blueprint interpretation and Autocad for precise tool and die making.

Ability to use micrometers and other precision measurement tools.

Familiarity with plastic molding and electrical discharge machining.Additional Skills & Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in tool and die making.

Work Environment

Work in a small, results-oriented toolroom department. Dress code requires steel-toed shoes and jeans or dickies.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr.
