FUNCTION
The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the activities of the security shift which provides safety and protects all patrons, Team Members, and company assets.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests. Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
Assist in recruitment process including job posting and recruiting metrics.
Delegates duties and assign responsibilities to staff.
Completes and processes performance reviews.
Assist in development of Team Members, conducts interviews, and participates in the selection, hiring, coaching, retention and termination process.
Investigate incidents and/or guest complaints, compiling data for accurate reporting.
Schedule rotation of officers throughout officer posts.
Conduct training with officers.
Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed and monitored during the shift.
May be asked to operate a company vehicle and/or equipment that require a valid Driver’s License.
Other duties as assigned.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Management abilities demonstrated in managing security operational effectiveness.
Maintain interpersonal working relationship among all personnel.
Oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of the Emergency Disaster Plan Manual.
Willingness to assume overall responsibility relative to the performance of
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED equivalence
One to Three years of experience as a security guard/ law enforcement agent with a 2-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Ability to obtain a valid Racing License
