CNC Machinist (Precision Machining)

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and blueprints.

Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.

Utilize advanced machining techniques to achieve tight tolerances and exceptional surface finishes.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor and inspect the quality of machined parts throughout the production process, utilizing precision measuring instruments.

Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, making necessary adjustments to maintain product integrity.

Program CNC machines using G-code and CAM software, ensuring efficient and effective production runs.

Prioritize safety protocols and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient operations and minimize downtime.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training is preferred.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, specializing in precision machining.

Proficiency in lathe machining techniques is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of CNC programming, G-code, and CAM software.

Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure accurate and high-quality production.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
