Job Description
The position involves performing a variety of shipping tasks, primarily preparing items for shipment as a Shipping Clerk/UPS position.
Responsibilities
Prepare orders and other packages for UPS and FedEx shipments.
Process UPS and FedEx paperwork and labeling for all packages shipping each day.
Verify weights and counts of order packages.
Print web store labels.
Prepare labels for imported goods drums.
Prepare barcodes for orders as necessary.
May deliver interoffice mail between buildings.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Contribute and adhere to all safety and quality requirements and objectives.
Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.Essential Skills
Ability to lift and maneuver 50lbs.
Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
Excellent physical condition and coordination.
High school diploma or GED.
Quick learner with attention to detail.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred, with at least 1 year of experience.
Experience with shipping and receiving, and familiarity with inventory is helpful.
Valid certification to operate forklifts is preferred but not required.
Candidates will start with packaging to learn the products and can then move to forklift operations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility spans over 278,000 square feet with some areas air-conditioned, specifically by the wicks area. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required, including steel toe boots (not provided), with safety glasses, sleeves, and gloves provided. The position operates on a shift from 8 am to 4:30 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Pompano Beach, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
