Job Title: Assembler (General Production Worker)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our production team. You will be responsible for interpreting and following blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications to accurately assemble equipment and products. This role involves the use of manual and pneumatic tools, maintaining inventory, performing quality checks, identifying product defects, and reworking or repairing assembled equipment in accordance with engineering specifications and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

Interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.

Accurately assemble equipment and products using manual and pneumatic tools.

Maintain inventory of products at workstations.

Perform quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards.

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation.

Rework and repair assembled equipment according to engineering specification changes.

Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.

Maintain cleanliness of the work area daily.

Participate in continuous improvement goals of the work site.

Assemble hydraulic pumps and valves using various hand tools based on blueprints and schematics.

Assemble pumps with nuts and bolts, with pump sizes ranging from 25-70lbs.Essential Skills

At least 1 year of mechanical assembly or automotive mechanic experience.

Ability to read blueprints in EnglishJob Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burbank, CaliforniaPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
