Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. This role involves operating sit-down gas forklifts and moving recycling materials throughout the facility. You will also be responsible for general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment, and may operate skid steers, balers, and other equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate sit-down gas forklifts and other equipment as needed.

Stack and move recycling materials and garbage throughout the facility.

Empty full containers and perform general preventative maintenance on forklift equipment.

Assist with various tasks throughout the facility as required.Essential Skills

2-5 years of forklift operating experience.

Ability to handle materials and perform heavy lifting (50lbs+).

Experience with heavy equipment, picking, loading, and general labor.

Proficiency in operating skid steers, loaders, and pallet jacks.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment

Work hours are Monday through Friday, starting at 4am and ending around 1:30 or 2pm. Occasionally, work on Saturdays is required, especially following a holiday, and these are usually shorter days. Employees have the option to sign up for as much overtime as they desire. The facility is located in Madison, WI

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
