Job Title: Assistant Plant Supervisor
Job Description
The Assistant Plant Supervisor will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage and oversee plant activities, ensuring employees are aligned with their tasks and addressing any issues that arise throughout the day.
Responsibilities
Assist with set-ups in the mornings, ensuring employees understand their tasks for the shift.
Urgently address any issues that arise during the day.
Oversee a team of 5-10 employees, providing guidance and support.
Be hands-on and ready to assist as needed.
Report all required data accurately.
Assist with cleanup at the end of the shift.Essential Skills
Leadership experience
Willingness to be on call if another supervisor is unavailable
Open to working overtime, potentially over 50 hours a week
Skills in supervision, management, continuous improvement, production management, safety, process improvement, quality standards, auditing, and supervisory skillsAdditional Skills & Qualifications
Military
Experience in food manufacturing

Work Environment
The role is based in Ohio and follows a 1st shift schedule from 6am to 6pm, Monday through Friday. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire position, providing a dynamic and supportive work environment where leadership and quick problem-solving are valued.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrison, Ohio.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
