Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment through effective troubleshooting and maintenance practices. You will perform a variety of tasks, including mechanical troubleshooting, setup, and changeovers, and preventative maintenance. Machining experience with lathes and mills is essential, as is the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. While electrical troubleshooting is not mandatory, it is considered a valuable additional skill.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot mechanical malfunctions.

Perform hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting.

Conduct machining tasks using lathes and mills.

Set up and changeover machinery.

Interpret blueprints and schematics.

Carry out preventative maintenance on all machinery, focusing on mechanical aspects.

Utilize hand and power tools for various tasks.

Troubleshoot conveyors and conveyor belts.

Replace and rewire 3-phase motors.Essential Skills

Mechanical troubleshooting.

Machining experience with lathes and mills.

Ability to perform setup and changeovers.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics.

Preventive maintenance skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications

Electrical troubleshooting is a plus.

Experience with hand and power tools.
