Job Description
We are seeking skilled machinists who can proficiently complete programming, setup, and operation of mill and lathe CNC machines. Candidates must be capable of reading blueprints, following instructions, and maintaining precision within very small tolerances. This role also involves routine machine maintenance in a fast-paced environment with daily production quotas. Proficiency in Mastercam programming is highly advantageous.
Responsibilities
Perform setup and basic programming of CNC mills and lathes.
Operate CNC machines efficiently to meet daily production quotas.
Read and interpret blueprints with precision.
Maintain machines routinely to ensure optimal performance.
Work effectively within very small tolerances.Essential Skills
Experience with CNC machining.
Proficiency in operating mills and/or lathes.
Capability in CNC setup.
Mastercam programming skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in meeting production quotas.

Work Environment
Our shop is a medium-sized industrial machine facility, laid out with CNC machines on the East side, laser/presses in the center, grinding machines on the West side, and shipping/receiving by the main door. The environment features tight quarters in some areas and newer CNC machines. Work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm. Dress code includes work clothes such as jeans, t-shirts, closed-toe shoes, and face masks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, Idaho.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
