Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator responsible for the production of metallic machined parts in accordance with shop traveler specifications and requirements. The CNC Operator must ensure error-free processing of each order and complete necessary paperwork and computer data entries associated with the CNC production process.
Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, clean, setup, load, and unload the CNC Router.
Carry out the production process effectively and efficiently, including receiving orders from Production Planner, allocating and loading materials, running jobs, inspecting products, cleaning, labeling, and staging finished parts.
Offload scrap or stock and return materials as needed.
Process jobs through the system and maintain an organized, clean work area.
Verify quality to ensure products meet customer specifications.
Regularly clean and maintain equipment and machinery.
Program and troubleshoot CNC Router functions.
Understand the company's objectives and mission.
Practice a willingness to learn production and distribution methodology.
Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, quality standards, and procedures.
Keep immediate work area clean and organized throughout the day.
Cross-train other team members as assigned.Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License.
Two or more years of machine operating experience.
Intermediate or higher CNC operation experience.
Good reading and math skills.
Good organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Computer skills.
Ability to measure using different tools.
Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction.
Strong work ethic; self-motivated.
Operate with high integrity, maintaining positive relations with co-workers, customers, and suppliers.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Coursework in metalworking, blueprint reading, drafting, and math.
One or more years of CNC router operation experience.
Mastercam experience.
Experience with Fanuc Controls and Haas Controls on 3-axis machines.
Understanding of how to perform setups at the machine utilizing Fanuc and Haas Controls.
Experience with 3-axis and 4-axis CNC Mills and Routers.
Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers.Work Environment
The work environment is a non-climate-controlled warehouse equipped with heaters in winter and open doors with large fans circulating air in summer. The facility operates on 2nd and 3rd shifts, with 3rd shift hours from Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Fridays are designated for overtime. Dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes. The company has around 35 employees and offers a 30-minute lunch break.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.
