Are you a highly experienced PeopleSoft Business Analyst with a strong focus on FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable & Billing? Would you be interested in a long term contract position?
Location: Austin, TX (hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely four days a week, with one day on-site for collaborative efforts)
Pay: up to $84/hr
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in analyzing business objectives and problems, identifying alternative solutions, and performing cost/benefit analyses. You'll work closely with various organizational units to analyze current operational procedures, pinpoint issues, and gather specific input and output requirements. Your expertise will be key in translating user needs into detailed functional specifications for PeopleSoft solutions, ensuring seamless integration and improved efficiency.
Responsibilities will include:
• Understanding business objectives and problems, identifying alternative solutions, and performing studies and cost/benefit analyses of alternatives.
• Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or improve existing computer systems.
• Conferring with personnel to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and determine specific input and output requirements (e.g., data input forms, data summarization, report formats).
• Writing detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
• Reviewing computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested program or program changes.
• Excelling in gathering requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, and mapping data to legacy systems and third-party interface systems.
• Performing hands-on end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces.
• Documenting processes, supporting training efforts, and contributing to other project tasks as needed.
• Working effectively with a large remote team, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Experience:
• 8 years as a Business Analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
• 8 years as a Business Analyst, specifically in Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations.
• 8 years as a Business Analyst in gathering requirements and conducting fit/gap analysis with subject matter experts.
• 8 years in performing hands-on end-to-end system integration testing with third-party interfaces.
• 4 years with Microsoft O365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• 2 years working with MS Teams in a large team setting.
Preferred Experience:
• 4 years working with a public sector organization (Federal, State, or Local Government).
• 2 years with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
• 2 years with SharePoint.
• 1 year with Jira.
• 1 year working with the Scrum framework.
• 1 year with STAT.
